The Higher Education Commission (HEC)

has revamped the existing

 Degree Attestation System (DAS)  with a

 Complete Online  & 

Paperless Attestation System  

The  Online Paperless Degree Attestation System  with 

 E-Attestation Certificate 

launched and effective from 11th May, 2026.

The New System is 

secure, efficient, and user friendly 

wherein the 

Applicants are no longer required to 

Physically Visit HEC or 

Send Original Documents to HEC. 

Applicants can Apply 24/7 for 

online attestation at HEC Web-Link 

www.eservices.hec.gov.pk.

An  E-Attestation Certificate 

will be issued to the Applicants through the system, 

which can be Verified at 

www.hec.gov.pk/site/verification

along with the document(s) attested thereunder. 

  No photocopy of any educational document will be processed for attestation in new system.

before the launch of E-Attestation Certificate

will remain valid 

and can also be verified from

I have a transcript only as my degree has yet not been  issued. Can I apply for its attestation without a degree? 

Only Transcript is attested by HEC subject to the condition that said original transcript must be verified by the Controller of Examination of concerned university from back side or photocopy of transcript from front side.

Is it mandatory for the applicant to attest his/her degree /transcript from the Controller of Examination of concerned university before submission to HEC for attestation?

No. It is not mandatory in general. 

The verification of degree/transcript from concerned university is usually required under the following circumstances:

(i)    If there is any misprint, overwriting, erasing on degree/transcript; 

(ii)    there are only scanned signatures on transcript(s) & degree(s); 

(iii)    If such directions have already been issued to concerned university; 

(iv)     The Attestation Officer feels it necessary that a degree/transcript/certificate requires verification from Controller of concerned university then the applicant is required to provide verification from Controller of examinations of concerned university.

(3).    Complete Application Form on HEC Portal.

(4).    Upload Degrees & Transcript from Matric to Masters (Till You want to Documents Attestation).

(5).    Select Degrees & Transcript / Photocopy You are Wanted Attested from HEC.

(6).    Select Mode of Attestation You are Wanted for Documents Attestation.

(i).    Through Walk In / By Visit.

(ii).   Through Courier

(7).    Submit Your Application for Scrutiny.

(8).    After Completion of Scrutiny Generate Challan from HEC Portal.

(9).    Pay Challan Fee from Banking App / JazzCash / Easypaisa by 1 Bill (Invoice/Voucher).

(10).  Which Mode of Attestation You Selected.

(i).    Through Walk In / By Visit Book Your Appointment for HEC Center.

(ii).   Through Courier Post Your Documents through Courier to HEC.

(11).    Get Attestation of Your Attested Documents from HEC.
